A surprisingly varied and picturesque series of trails in the heart of Beaverton, easy going enough for the smallest of children.
Daily, dawn until dusk, unless otherwise posted.
Much like Cooper Mountain, Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a lot more interesting than its Beaverton address would suggest. The network of short trails allow you to build your own adventure, and the paths vary between paved, decked and good old fashioned dirt, the latter augmented by stepping logs (if that’s the right term) in the muddiest sections. The whole thing is as flat as a pancake, making it suitable for even the littlest of legs, and the intersection of habitats creates a surprising amount of variety. There’s also an interpretive center. And restrooms.
