Pros

  • Miles of fantastic trails to explore. Trees, a stream, bridges…
  • 670 acres, but all fairly contained, so you’re never too far from the parking lot if your little ones have had enough / its started raining etc.
  • There’s a nature center with presentations targeted at elementary school age children.
  • Close to town.

Cons

  • Steep hills and narrow stretches make it largely stroller inaccessible.
  • Prepare to get mown down by joggers wearing ipods.
