Oaks Amusement Park

A slightly dilapidated old-school amusement park, Oaks Park is a lot of fun – especially for young children – at a reasonable price.

Pros

  • A wide variety of rides providing plenty of varied entertainment, especially for younger children (4ish through 8ish).
  • The “ride all day” bracelets are a great deal and allow you to know in advance how much you’ll be spending.
  • Lines are never too awful, even on the busiest days.
  • If you can do it, overcast spring weekends or summer weekdays provide the best opportunity  to avoid the crowds.

Cons

  • Packed out on nice days – more personal space to be had travelling third class in India.
  • Likewise, parking can be difficult when the weather is fine.
